Studied Law and Psyhology & Philosophy at the University St. Kiril & Methodius in Skopje.
One of the leading ex-Yugoslav and Macedonian film critics, with huge ex-Yugoslav and present International experience, working as a professional film critic and publicist in the past 40 years.

Long standing, since 1995, program selector of the Main Competition and Artistic Director of the International Cinematographers Film Festival “Manaki Brothers” in Bitola, Republic of Macedonia, the first and oldest in the World Festival dedicated to the creativity of the world cinematographers. Mr. Kunovski initiated the Club of the Greats-Lifetime Achievement Award for the Greatest World Cinematographers, mostly AA/Oscar Winners

Member of the world critics’ Federation of FIPRESCI/Federation Internationale de la Press Cinematographic, and President of Macedonian FIPRESCI. Up to now, participated in more then 25 Juries of FIPRESCI at International film Festivals.

Professionally active in continuity as film critic and publicist almost 40 years, working as Editor film critic for the MRTV/Macedonian Radio and TV-the National/State Broadcasting Company. His main activities are: writing various types of articles, broadcasted and published in specialized Art/Film Magazines.

Initiator/Founder of the ART CINEMA “Frosina”at YCC/Youth Cultural Center in Skopje and also initiator and artistic programmer of the International Film Festival CINEDAYS at YCC in Skopje. As film critic , whose speciality is the world animation film, in 2011, he is also founder/iniciator of the ANIMAX, Skopje International Film Festival of the world animated film (programmer and artistic coordinator).

In his long professional career Mr. Kunovski cooperates with many European and World Festivals and institutions for the purposes of programing of “Manaki Brothers” Festival and has a lot of contacts with the leading film professionals in the world as film critic and programmer/consultant.
